Whiskerino 2009

S. P. Dinsmoor

is worthy of being followed.

I found this amazing painting at a Goodwill outside of Leesburg, FL. It's painted onto an old sheet of tin with a handmade frame. Price paid: $0.25

Nice! I have three cheapo paintings that I picked up at Goodwill for $7 hanging up in my house.

How's NaNoWriMo coming along for you?

I'm doing it, but not really. Using it as an excuse to pen a short story instead. It'll probably end up being 20K-25K instead, but I'm alright with that.

That is a wonderful price, a wonderful painting, and a wonderful bit of irony that it was found in Leesburg, FL.

I just watched a show on the History Channel about Abe Lincoln's death mask. People now think he may have had some wasting disease that caused the right side of his face to grow out of proportion to the left. Kind of a depressing post for such an awesome painting, I know. But that is an awesome painting.
