Today, I look back with heavy heart and say goodbye to my beard.

I am thankful for the last 120 days; the new friends, the ability to stay contact with old ones, the overall energy and inspiration of the Whiskerino and my loving wife who supports all my endeavors even if she doesn't love some of the details - in this case the beard.

I say goodbye to the beard but look forward to seeing everyone in the next big adventure. It's going to be awesome.

I dunno how you came across yewknee / beard contest in the first place but I am absolutely indebted to you for it. You are an amazing guy and I hope this isn't our last encounter. I'd love to share beers with you again someday and catch up about all the nerdy things I know we have in common.

I regret that I didn't try to chase you or @cdub down when it happened. But I'm confident that I wouldn't miss such an opportunity should it arise again (yes, the care wreck was an opportunity…).
