I went long yesterday, so I'll keep it a bit brief today.

You all, are my heros. I came to believe during my time in Nashville, there there is very little that binds us that has anything to do with beards. The dedication to grow a beard for four months, to take a picture every day (that is hopefully entertaining), and spend hours praising other people's photos--is simply the mark of the kind of person I want to know in this life.

While our commonalities might have brought many of us together through some means, we have only @mackle to thank for bringing us together here.

Thank you to everyone that I've hung out with for the last 4 months. I've enjoyed every minute I spent on this site, and wished I could have spent so much more. I am proud that I posted every day I was in the site (I didn't get in until day 2), but more than anything, I am proud to have been part of this.

I will miss this, and never forget it.

We talked about the Yeard once or twice. After serious consideration, I decided not to go for it. Part of the reason is work, and part of the reason is Moustache May. After growing with you and the others here for 4 months, it's hard to think of sitting out the fun of May. So I'll see you in a few months.
If you get over to see the relatives in St. Helena, drop a line. Lots of good restaurants, wineries, and beer joints in the Napa Valley. Take care.

Your last two posts are genuinely perfect. The post about your wife (somewhat for your mother) is among the sweetest things I've seen in a long long time. You guys have something special and I hope one day I can have such a nice life like the one you have built for yourself.

I learned about the Pixies while I lived there. I love that band. I ate the best Mexican food I have ever had while there. I learned to skateboard there.
