if my marriage was equal, i would have to do a lot more working and a lot less looking, so I can't say I support that.

I am all for Marriage Equality but I will say - "Marriage" is something the church handles and, being a private institution, they're allowed to oppose it all they want. I realize it's easier to say Marriage than it is Civil Union and.. honestly.. it's kind of just semantics but I think a lot of the controversy of this issue gets muddled up in the word choice.

I agree but say a church accepts a person no matter there sexual preference (which it is known some churches do) then you can have the religious marriage, or you should be able to have the choice of Civil union through the state. but I agree a lot of arguing does occur over the word "Marriage"

@Katie we are at Nick's house still. Did you see that snow? We went out to get sunflower and decided we weren't leaving again.

@ThatGuy We will definitely let you know!

@Mackle There is a lot of trouble caused by words /: I also think that it should be up to the individual church as to whether they accept a religious "marriage" or not, but some people who are gay are also people who are religious...
Civil union is definitely a state issue not related to churches or marriage, and your statement that it's easier to say "marriage" is something that I guess a lot of people...don't get? or take for granted....
Oh, controversy. /:
