Finished! (Sort of.)
We spent the last day and a half swapping the kids' room with the family room. Both rooms are tiny (10'x12' or 10'x9.5') but the kids are now in the larger room to accommodate moving our youngest into the space.
We'll add balloons and streamers tonight so that they come home to a party room. (They're staying with my parents at a resort while we make this all happen.)
Kids's room is done - painting, moving and mostly sorted. Still to do is the family room, but we'll have that done by midnight, I think.
