I have been collecting playing cards for some time now, most especially custom decks from various producers.

This particular card is, as you can see, a Joker. It belongs to the Black Ghost deck from Ellusionist.com — I highly recommend their custom decks as they are very nicely designed and on great stock.

Using them for tricks, however, will net you instant skeptics. They LOOK like trick decks just by their very nature of not being a standard deck of cards.

I am in dire need of a new deck of playing cards, despite the fact that I haven't played in a long time.

please come to the throwdown, and please show me your magic. I was really hardcore into it for years...learning and doing sleight of hand tricks and such with friends and at parties. Haven't done it in so long, and I'd love to see your skills, man

You could look a bit happier about it. Just sayin.

@Chadmcclarnon: I'll bring a few decks to the throwdown, but I am no illusionist. My fingers lack much of the nimbleness required to perform something as simple as the Jones Change. I know a few classics and will practice those for some giggles. I gave a friend who does excellent street magic-style slights a copy of this deck and he can't pull it out without getting instantly accused of having a trick deck.

@mattyc: It is a modest collection of 44 decks that I can see right now.

@aaronb: I know right! I don't know what my problem is… maybe focusing too much on trying to ensure a very consistent pose results in a weird, unwarranted scowl on my face.
