Who took my suitcase?
Who stole my guitar?
And where's my sense of humor?
What am I doin' in this bar?
This man who's been drinking,
and giving you the eye--
I don't know @ThatGuy.

@keifel, La Grange is such an awesome jam, too. Funny ZZ Top trivia: There are three guys in the band, two of them have really long beards. The one guy with no beard is named Frank Beard.

Very nice! First appearance for this guitar?
Posted: Jan 21st, 2010 - 7:58pm -
ThatGuy says:
@caronna @growershower @kimjonillness It's a japanese made Foto Flame Tele. It has the body contour on the back and arm contour on the front like a strat. And it was originally made with 3 pickups like a stratted up Nashville Tele. Some previous owner switched to this traditional Tele setup. I already have all the stuff to switch it back.

Clame for Foto Flame info, in you're interested.

rodohmes says:
That is a beautiful guitar. If I was to get a real Tele, it would be that exact color (with the woodgrain, but a flat finish) and that same pick guard. Beautiful.

Did the original setup include 3 single coils or was a humbucker involved somewhere?
Posted: Jan 22nd, 2010 - 6:19pm -
ThatGuy says:
@rodohmes I'm not the original owner, but to the best of my knowledge these were wired with three single coils. It was basically wired like a strat, but with only two knobs. I'm planning on wiring back in the third pickup and maybe putting in the second volume control to.
