So basically I'm not big on Black and White, I love colors and I think they should be seen. I feel that a lot of bad photographers** will photoshop pictures into black and white because they feel it automatically makes it artistic. My intentions with today's picture were to take an ironic I'm-so-lonely-and-in-black-and-white picture that poked fun at these people but then I took this as my last shot just for fun. I ended up thinking it was funnier than my original idea but it isn't 100% in focus and that's bugging me like crazy. ...I think I'm rambling. Just look at my eh picture.

Clame for original idea which I would have used had the cart not been there.

In my world, it's the shopping cart that makes this shot "automatically artistic", not the lack of color.

A lot of words for a kid in a shopping cart. You may have poison in your future. I like the shot none the less.

I think this could use a solid does of Emo to push it over the limit.

nice shot nonetheless. I'd argue for black&white in the occasion that the colors obviously date the photo.

Dude, both of the shots are totally awesome. I hear what you're saying about people thinking black and white is automatically artistic and I agree. My pet peeve is people think a photo is artistic just because it was shot with a lomo. Anyway, I'm kinging you. Maybe it's because my only experience as an adult in a shopping cart happened when I lived in st louis, or maybe you just deserve it.

#1 - Could not agree more. A black and white picture of a mailbox is not indicative of loneliness or talent.

#2 - You need someone pushing you. A stationary shopping cart is just no fun.

My art is artistic because I'm an artist. Art.

That's how I would sum some of those you spoke of.

Great shot.

you have outdone yourself. should shoot more in b&w. this shot is so cool the way the lines and asphalt slip away into the distance into obscurity. looks like you're riding the cart on some kind giant platter in the sky.
