I had a black Pommie, Dreyfus was his name... he wasn't mine really... just the family dog. We didn't get along very well... truthfully... for some reason he hated me. Then my family got a second dog that everybody loved... and Dreyfus sort of spun into a little depression because nobody was giving him attention anymore... then there was this moment... where he came and sat next to me on the couch and let me pet him... that was the beginning of a friendship... he made his peace with me.... We went on to be good buds... I'd take him to friend's houses who had much bigger dogs... good ole Dreyfus turned out to be a pretty tough dude... scaring away Rottweilers... and other dogs much much larger than him... I had an old Suzuki motorcycle that I rigged a milk crate on the back seat to take Dreyfus out for bike rides... he loved it... he really did. ..one of the funnier memories I have of him was when I took him to the vets for a checkup where the vet said to me... "your dog weighs 24 lbs"... and I was like 'yeah'... he then repeated himself saying Pomeranians were supposed weigh between 12-13 lbs... to which I kinda giggled... Dreyfus was a bit on the large size... not fat... just big... Eventually my family moved to Arizona and took Dreyfus with them... it wasn't more than six months later that he died... I'm guessing of sadness... my mother knew I'd be sad so she told me she had his ashes spread into the desert... that didn't help any... Drefus had no connection to the desert... she should have sent them back to me... anyway... enjoy your dog while you have him...
@chally That precious little angel is named Bleeker (named by my wife after Paulie Bleeker from the film "Juno") He is 100% pure joy! CLAME for Bleeker's first Whiskerino appearance.
