Meet my WhiskerQueen, Natalie, and WhiskerPrincess, Eden Lotus.

I want to tell you the story of how our family was born. Shortly before Eden came into this world, we found out she was breech (feet first). Natalie was scheduled for an external version, but needless to say we weren't at all excited about it. But we were 'running out of time' so we had to make a decision quickly. So we skipped the hospital visit and committed ourselves to helping her turn together, using the power of intention and chiropractic care. In three days, with all of us working together, she flipped. Shortly thereafter, Eden was safely born in the comfort of our own bedroom.

Eden had taught us a valuable lesson even before she was born. That together, as a family, we can conquer anything we set our hearts and mind to. We are not powerless as we so often think we are. Look within before you seek without. The power we harness as human beings is greater than you could ever imagine. If you believe in your tribe, you can move mountains.

Happy Valentine's Day my friends, and much love to you and yours.

(Doublebute: Pip & 9schwander )

Sweet story. I'm glad you tried to turn her, rather than just giving up/in.

I am KING'n this because you just touched the heart of my family here. Very moving tribute to your family. We are also a homebirth family as well, with our second daughter actually born in our cabin. We had our first at the hospital, but it was with a doctor who was very natural and pro home birth. (extremely rare these days) And of course, our two boys are adopted... nothing like family! Here's a toast to your beautiful one!

we are lucky men. i like you mug...

our daughter Sadie was delivered breech. all natural. it's a long story but our midwife was convinced it was fine and amazingly everything went off with out a hitch. Sadie has never had any problems with her hips or anything. i know c-sections have become the norm for a breech baby and i'm really thankful that my wife didn't have to go through that.

I'm starting to really believe that it's all true. We could move mountains. With enough faith, we could walk on water. All we have to do is believe. That doesn't mean it won't take real hard work, just that it's possible to do what seems impossible. We are more powerful than we know.
