Man I am so glad I got to meet and hang out with you. You showed me a lot of Nashville and made me feel welcome more than anyone else who was familiar with that city. Thanks and hopefully see you again some day!
thats one of the most awesome things... No matter what I'd always know that we could agree on tacos... even if you broke my heart a time or two along the way.
Thank you for sharing your beer with me. Thank you for sharing your beard with me.
You've made a few comments to the effect that your pictures aren't good enough to compete with some of the photographers on here. Well, for what it's worth, your day one/day 129 shots from 2007 were two that I remember, and enjoy, most from the Whiskerino that I discovered too late. You do cool things and you Whiskerino with the best of them. Thanks for making this thing so much better.
thanks for the beer advice. without your kegs at the last TD i probably wouldn't be brewing now. I am forever greatful my friend
happy trails my friend
We're too close not to hang out sometime soon. Wish I could've made it to the TD to sample some of your homebrew. @RolfBastard raved over it. Hope to see you soon.
Glad I got to meet you and sling beer with you at the Throwdown. I hope to brew beer as good as yours someday. I'm in NC every so often so I'll look you up when I head that way.
great work on this whiskerino man, you rock. congrats on perfect attendance, and also, I think you had the best orange back photo of any of them. take care
sorry for the "don't make me choose" fake out on the cd. it was written for moustache many and admittedly recycled. we should have recorded alternate endings. but there's always the sketchy youtube video. CLAME
I totally get what you mean about getting to the end of something so odd and feeling such a sense of pride. It was so good to meet you and drink your amazing beer. Thanks for the coffee stout recipe, I plan on brewing some up later this spring.
If you're on flickr, make sure to add me as a contact.
Derick, it was nice meeting and hanging out with you in Nashville. You make a great beer, and helped to evaporate any doubts I had about the skill of homebrewers. You're a stand-up guy, and I hope to run into you again. Keep in touch and take care of yourself.
It was great getting to meet you at the Throwdown, and your beer was awesome! I usually don't have fun getting drunk but it was a blast with your fine beverages.
The only thing they pale in comparison to is your calendar, which is just as strong (imagewise).
Shular, let me just say that it was a pleasure making your acquaintance at the TD. and your homebrews were so delicious! Bon voyage good sir and hope to see you again!
Derick, I am seriously wrecked I didn't get to see you this time. I will never forget your hospitality to me and Joe, and the long drive back and forth to Nashville with kegs of your homebrew in the back of my focus. That trip was a really great memory from the last few years .
I promise one of these years we are going to make it to Greensboro for one of your epic parties, it's on my list
so i didnt get to chat with you much at the throwdown but it was good to see you at the throwdown as usual. plus you rock the plaid and blazer well i must say. im glad we could have our ridiculous conversations on the talkback. stay awesome dude.
lol your name is derrick? you realize that's like only a couple letters away from being a "dick" ? remove the "err". see? clever, eh?
i enjoyed drinking your beer and exchanging scowls at the throwdown. you are a really cool dude, i hope you do make it out to Idaho sometime, you'll always have a place to stay, just get out here and i'll take care of the rest.
stay cool, brother.
I enjoyed following your photos this time round, and sampling your beer at the throwdown. Glad I got a chance to hang out with you in person, even if just for a little bit. Keep being amazing.
