Today was a long day, which started with waking up to remember that I had no coffee beans in the house after another night with only a few hours of sleep. Blah. Then I went straight from work to an audition for a part in the play A Comedy of Errors. Came home from the auditions, and fell asleep reading bedtime stories to the kids, then woke up remembering that I still needed to post my picture for today, so here it is.
And a poem for you:
Cats Sleep Anywhere
Cats sleep anywhere, any table, any chair.
Top of piano, window-ledge, in the middle, on the edge.
Open draw, empty shoe, anybody's lap will do.
Fitted in a cardboard box, in the cupboard with your frocks.
Anywhere! They don't care! Cats sleep anywhere.
by Eleanor Farjeon (1881 - 1965)
