Did they make you choose between your beard or a paycheck? If so, you made the right choice.

also, you quitting for realz?

Romeotomeo says:
@Ace, no i am not quitting for real. this is a part of a series, and in order to incorporate the themes into my own story I had to quit my job... in the story. I still work at starbucks and am not quitting. and yes the mastrenas are beautiful, but they are basically just the old machines with a couple extra buttons and levers.

I like how the barista is totally keeping classy. You managed to hit the theme and follow your story line also.

Romeotomeo says:
@Ace, true, that is a nice feature. But just hold on, your Mastrena will come. Perhaps, your store will get one of those and ours will get a Clover.

Romeotomeo says:
@jnonfiction, sorry to disappoint. But if it means that much to you maybe I will quit tomorrow.

jnonfiction says:
@romeotomeo no, please, don't quit over a comment. i was just pushing the envelope. i just thought, "wouldn't it be amazing if he advanced the story AND really actually quit in real life." but, I don't want you to give up your job for Whiskerino.

Also, I recognize that this is far too much protestation for a simple comment, and that you weren't really going to quit your job tomorrow. But it's too late for regrets.

I hope that someday I will have the opportunity to quit a job simply by handing the boss a piece of paper with I QUIT written on it.
