Not on theme, but needed to go ahead and upload it.

I ran the 2009 Thunder Road Marathon in Charlotte dressed in a Santa Costume this past weekend.

It was both amazingly awesome and horrible at the same time.

Sir Walshington says:
dude, this is insane. how did you time differ as opposed to normal running attire?
and, how the hell did you get gu's and water without swallowing tons of nasty, fake, white hair? haha.

Robozo says:
@Sir Walshington My time sucked. Partly because I decided the week before to run this and so I hadn't trained at all and partly because high-fiving EVERYONE and having to talk a lot took a lot of energy out of me. Needless to say the time wasn't really my concern.

As for the drinking, at first I tried to drink water through the beard and because the temp was in the 20s, the beard actually froze. So after that I would pull it down to drink.

@mu Why? why not?

mackle says:
amazing work sir.. absolutely ridiculous. I like that you can run a marathon with a "weeks training" - that's out of control!

I played santa for a kids charity a couple of years ago and I about roasted. You ran an entire 26.2 miles in that thing. You are my hero.

@Robozo was just curious if there was more to the story... as it is just amazing. "Why not" may just be the best answer as it shows you know how really live life!

Let me get this straight. You ran 26+ miles in a effing Santa suit? You are incredible. I'm afraid of you.
