Hopefully a sign of what's to come...

I put a roll of Ektar through the Mamiya this weekend and just got it back. I'm almost finished scanning the negatives and I hope to have a few non-self-portraits up on my Flickr stream soon.

I love participating in Whiskerino, and it's been a great creative challenge for me to daily devise a new and (hopefully) interesting shot but, truth-be-told, I'm getting sick of seeing my photostream fill up with self-portraits. I'm really hoping to shoot tons of film after finals end this week and, perhaps, start to even-out the balance of content that I upload :-)

Oh, and BTW, the film is in a plastic sleeve, so don't worry about finger prints.

CLAME for a bonus shot from yesterday that I wish I'd pulled off the memory card. I think I prefer it to whatI actually uploaded.

CLAME for the results that I thought were worthwhile. For the most part I was just testing the close-focusing capabilities of the Mamiya C3, but I was actually happy with how some of them turned out (your mileage may vary).

Have a lot of respect for good old fashioned darkroom work. I call myself a 'professional' photographer... that with having really SUCKED in the darkroom in college.

Awesome alt shot from yesterday too! It is cool to see you experimenting, I feel the same way and love the challenge of trying to take better shots from day to day.

One of my favorite classes in college was photography. I would love to be able to develop my own photos again. You lucky

Ploafmaster says:
@9schwander and @michaeljstraub : I didn't actually develop the negatives seen above - they're color negatives that I had processed at the local pro lab.

But when I have the time...when not busy with classes, I do develop my own black and white, like I did on the 11/4 picture.

If I had a darkroom I'd do my own prints, too. But alas, I simply process the film and scan the negatives for digital darkroom work instead.
