Whole Wheat French Batard

Kneading a little too long and 2/3 wheat flour yielded a much denser dough. turned the oven down 25 degrees and it seems to be more thoroughly cooked. Also realized I'd been skipping a step in the recipe that makes doing the slices on top easier.
