here's the key to getting/staying fit: give yourself an excuse to be active. we got a dog that needs daily exercise. it got me off the couch and moving around and that snowballed to wanting to eat clean & lose weight.
you could just as easily buy a bike, join an indoor soccer team, take a martial arts class, etc. I find it helps to do something that involves an investment both in money and time. that way you want to get results because it's costing you something.
