Bazan 'butes @Pip !!!!

Whilst this beard just admires another.

It should be noted Dave was totally in to this picture and the idea of it. He asked, "is the original dude smiling or anything?" i said, "dude, do what you want."

and wow, was i impressed with the outcome.

I've been listening to Pedro the Lion for years, and I've seen them live probably five times over the years. One of my favorite parts was how he always took questions from the audience.

Did he do that during the house concert? How was it? What kind of stuff did he play?

he played 4 christmas songs, a tom petty cover, another cover i was unfamiliar with 4 songs from Curse Your Branches, and Big Trucks and Priests and Paramedics. He had his drummer, Casey Foubert playing electric guitar on the CYB songs.

and yes, he took many questions. there were maybe 30 people there crammed in this little townhouse in Corktown, Detroit. actually the questions were more like conversations. i blurted out, "this is more like VH1 storytellers at this point" to which he laughed, and capoed his guitar. he was a real peach, that guy. totally open and honest and friendly and funny. as always.
