Post-Thanksgiving lunch at Pogolino's Pizza with Grandma Mary Huck, my dear Aunt Annette, the Twins (my Grandpa Joe's sisters, both nuns who taught my father to play guitar), and a handful of my great aunts.
As most are widows, the girls get together near the holidays to exchange stories and catch up. At the end, when we all huddled at the door to leave, Aunt Dottie turned to me and told me, "It's good to have you here to spice things up. We're not used to having men at these things."
