After we dropped off @growershower, Ozzy (or as I've come to know him, Robert) was driving straightaway to a gas station because I was really thirsty (actually, he said I'm priority one because of my diabetes. No clue what this had to do with 'the shugah') and we ended up at a nearby "Arab Mart," if you'll excuse the term. Andrew was seriously toasted but coming down, and totally berated me until I said I'd buy him water.

So in I go to the store. Because it's 0230 I buy myself a diet Sprite. For my boy Andrew, an Ice Mountain. I get up to the counter and the Arab gent calls out, "Shalom," to which I reply, "hey there." It was funny because I'd been quoting Walter all night. Then there was a little chit chat about the weather (as to be expected) and the Arab gent then said to me, "Aren't you an Orthodox Jew," to which I replied, "I amn't."

As I get back into the car, I relay this story to my boys, to which James initiates the most hilarious interaction I've experienced of late

J - "Kind of like those Greek Orthodox. They grow their beard as part of their religion."
M - "James you're stupid. They don't grow it for their religion."
J - "What the f--k do you know?"
M - "I'M GREEK ORTHODOX!"
J - "Oh."

The car exploded in laughter. We told jokes. And then we ate at Waffle House.

ICE MOUNTAIN, SON.

This is my favorite story ever. From this last weekend. How's Garmin doing? I hope I didn't hurt her feelings.

Ozzy Nelson says:
no one has called me "Robert" since the first day of school in every year of elementary. But just the first day.
I am at least the 4th robert in the line, but my grandfather was "Bob" my dad was "Butch" to his family, and "Bob" to everyone else and I am "Lee" professionally and "Ozzy" recreationally.

I love you man, at the time, @growershower came first, you were very close second, and waffle house was a distant third.

Dear @ozzynelson,
Please tell me you are named after Robert E. Lee. Then tell me it is true. Finally, tell me you admire the man. Because I do.
Sincerely,
Just Jamey
