How to Tie a Bowtie
Step 3: The next day, bow up the shorter end and wrap the longer end around. Tuck the longer end bow through the hole behind the shorter end bow. Now curse when you notice your bowtie is cockeyed.
This is what happens when you cross the shorter end over the longer end. I tricked you to make a point. That's why step 2 is the most important step. If you don't do it correctly, you get slanty bowties.
