Last year, I vowed to read 25 books in a year. I made it to 6.

This year, I decided to keep things a little more realistic and am attempting to read 12 books in a year. That's 1 book a month.

This month's read is Pride & Prejudice & Zombies.
Elizabeth Bennett is kickin' zombie arse and I have 4 days to finish this book.

In other geektastic news, I was informed they'll be making this book into a movie starring Natalie Portman. I'm a little excited.

If I haven't already said this, it was great meeting you this past weekend.

--start boasting--
Last year I read 23 books in less than 3 months. All other hobbies/interests took a backseat to reading. It certainly takes a level of sacrifice to read a lot. The good part was that I didn't watch nearly as much television. This book is on my "To Read" list. I did read World War Z, which was good. CLAME to see all the books I read during that time.
--end boasting--

I've heard that book was good. Also, it was great meeting you at the TD. I just read about your loss... I'm so sorry. That's a tough one, dear. Let's just savor the last few days of this silly website :)
