Today on BeardCam: Patchiness, where does it come from, and how do I avoid it?

let it go. the growy parts will cover the not-so-growy parts.

Ahh, here's the problem though, the not-so-growy parts have no growy parts above them, so the growy parts are unable to cover the not-so-growy parts, get what I mean?

Genetics man, genetics. Growing hair is largely based on your genes and hormones.

You can maximize what you've been given with, by exercising, which increases your testosterone levels, keeping your pores clean and taking multivitamins, especially biotin. But there is no magic cure or pill for growing hair.

I've got a couple patchy spots on my cheeks, and the beard doesn't connect with the sideburns, but meh. I'm in it all the way man. Why not? It's fun. Keep going the distance. You may like what you've got anyway.
