Golfing in 39º weather with @knoxandy.

So I'm trying to turn my natural fade into a draw. I read a few tips on the "Stack and Tilt" method in last month's Golf Digest that are supposed to give me the swing plane needed to do that. Any golfers on here willing to give a man a few pointers?

wait, 39º ? Don't you have a job indoors drinking coffee you should be at?

@Shularbrau, its a little nine hole par-3 course about 10 minutes from my house. My wife and I have a family membership there. All we can golf for the entire year for $175.

I hope you use words like "member" and "club" to impress your friends.

@shularbrau, if you golf, we should hit it up next time you're in town. I'll take you to the "Club" where I am a "Member".

i used to dabble in the dark arts of golf, but the homebrewing hobby has taken over most of my freetime and freemoney for the past few years.

I have always wanted to go out with a 3-some, with 2 carts. The 4th bag slot would fit a homebrew keg perfectly I think.

Let's make that happen.

I think that back swing looks pretty nice.
I'm not a golfer. And I don't have as many girlfriends as Tiger.

Based on that photo, you need to get a little more twist in the lower body. Twist from the hips. Good position at the top. I agree with everyone else, it's too cold.

O-Train says:
If this shot was snapped at the top of the swing, you need a little more hip rotation. Try to get that club pointing at the target at the top.

If this was snapped just after you started the downswing, you are looking pretty good.

TroopaB says:
Easiest way is to start your hips a little earlier and move your down ward swing plane to inside out that way your hands will be more in time with your body as apposed to being in front of them which causes a fade. A fade is easier to fix than a slice. Also try slowing your swing down. Count in your head as you remove the club from the ball. 1, 2, 2 down. It helps me a lot.
