@mattyc Indeed, there are. I live on 5 acres, which is part of 20 acres of avocado land. There are a couple of guys who do all the picking, and it gets sold to a middleman, who sells it to all the Costcos in Hawaii. If there is a surplus, they go to Safeway.

@edwardteach @michaeljstraub You are seriously invited any time. No need for the couch. I have three bedrooms and a loft, and currently it's only me and my beagles living here. So, come on out and claim a room.

@revgoomba @keifel I think you are both seeing my Jeep Wrangler. I have a carport out in the trees somewhere, but usually I just part between two trees near my house. I bought a Jeep because it didn't take me long to figure out that this is a rugged island, and people without 4wd do not get to experience the best of it. All of our greatest treasures are hidden, and require long days of hiking, or 4wd + hiking. :)
