Like @keifel, I am a library lover. Welcome to my home. My living room is a library. In the background is my icon corner. I 'wrote' (painted) two of them myself.

What's kind of cool is that I was just watching Andrei Rublev before I got on here. This has been a night filled with icons.

@chuckdamage Dude, that's awesome! My godfather is named after Rublev. You say you were "watching Andrei Rublev" - what were you watching?

Chuck Damage says:
There's a movie made in 1966 by the Russian director Andrei Tarkovsky called Andrei Rublev that's a fictitious imagining of his life. It's very good, but it's almost 3½ hours long.

@edwardteach Methinks you're right. Also, I really like Horsely, though he's got plenty of problems. His book on the gospel of Mark and his book Jesus and Empire both knocked my socks off in a very good way.
