From one A.I. to another: I am thankful for having been able to find shoes with my name on them in the clearance section, and for all those times I got to see my surname scroll across the bottom of the screen while watching sports. Good luck with whatever team signs you out of retirement.

that's fun. we named out daughter Bright. for several reasons. the funnest of which is that all the good hippie names were overused: trinity, moon, star, etc. i've always thought those were cool because they were more parts of speech than traditional names. so both my kids got adjective+noun combinations: bright holly and christian lake. the other reason to name her bright is that her mother is Korean and her name (as all Asian names) has a specific Chinese derivative meaning. my wife's name in chinese basically means bright light (or shiny bright). as for why your post made me think of this: my daughter is 7 and learning to read (actually she is past learning and now reading eVeRyThInG in her path, which generates a lot of uncomfortable questions). the really fUn thing about her name and her reading is that her name is everywhere and always used in a positive and ...well, bright context.
