I splashed my gear on the street just riding a bicycle, so I don't think I'll be trying this anytime soon. It'd probably be lame sans convertible anyway.
extremely well done. the lighting and color are spot on. version #2 is just as nice, but i think i like this one better in regards to composition. flash plus long exposure, right?
i wonder if someone could determine the length of time your shutter was open based on the length of the light trails and knowledge that you were moving forward at 28 miles per hour.
@hale. Thank you. You are correct, flash + long exposure. I'm sure someone much smarter than me could figure out the shutter speed based on the length of the light trails. For those of us who are mere math mortals, it was 1.3".
In a city where elves and crumply tartar sauce makers ruled the streets, two people defied the traditions and values of the entire cityscape. Armed with firepower and lasers, they combed the city streets in search of power and mystic. They knew no boundaries. They only knew everything that was amazing inside of those things that weren't.
@Wilcoxjd I live in Loveland now. Born and raised in Pleasant Ridge.
@Wiseacre I think this is somewhere along 126. I just set the camera and flash to go off every 5 seconds, then drove around Loveland/Miami-Township for 15 minutes doing my best to completely embarrass my wife. I'd love to try this downtown sometime.
As the first major inland city in the country, it is thought of as the first purely American city, lacking the heavy European influence that was present on the east coast.
