I'm not materialistic, but I do have a good amount of books and vinyl. Since I was relocated my records tonight, I figured I'd showcase them over the reading material.

Excellent! That is what I had considered showcasing, but it would have been too much trouble.

Do you have a favorite piece of vinyl?

@justjamey -- actually that's a hard question to answer... I don't think I have a specific favorite record. How about you?

Is this the second theme your've participated in in less than a week? Are thinking about changing that name?

Billy Joel, Herbie Hancock, Roberta Flack, and Journey. I'm glad I'm not the only person who truly listens to everything.

@johnnyrebellious I know what you mean, it is a tough question to answer. However, out of all my vinyl, I'd say Peter, Paul, & Mary's 10 Years Together. Previously I would have said Beastie Boys License to Ill, but that somehow has been lost sometime in the last 4 years.

Man, I would give you that 12-string if I could part with it. My dad gave that to me (he actually gave me 4 out of 6 of those guitars.) It isn’t that the guitar has a great sentimental value, but it would be wrong of me to give away or sell something he gave me, and that is based on something that went down between my dad and me a few years ago. I won’t clutter up your comments with the story. Suffice to say I committed to never, ever parting with anything he has given me again.

Johnny Rebellious says:
@thatguy, I actually wasn't planning on doing this theme, but by coincidence I was moving all of my vinyl to a different room in the house... so I figured, "Meh, why not take a picture?"

And in that act of conformity, I was rebelling against my own rebellious nature, which technically continued to keep myself in a state of rebellion.

Hahahaha. There are no coincidences. Welcome to our world of blindly following the ant in front of us. All paths lead to Nashville.
