hahaha, you're right @SoulGlo1976 -- I rarely take requests.. it's not in my nature. It's also very rare for me to play anything other my own songs and/or songs that I've written with other people.
I'm very glad you're a guitar player too, Johnny. The difference between you and me is that I almost never play original compositions. Mostly because I don't have any.
i hate when people give me requests. i dont know other peoples songs. i really feel bad when family members say something like "how about a praise song?" and i have to say " i dont know any. want to hear one about my friend dying from a heroin overdose?"
no showing off here, @julialikesbeards... this is just my "I'll take a picture in my after work, post-shower, lounging attire". if i was flexing -- that would be different story. ewww... there will be no flexing by me. that would just be sad if i started doing that.
@Danimal - I know exactly what you mean about the requests... I'm the same exactly way. And I'm sorry to hear about some of your lyrical content -- I actually know how that goes as well (friends/acquaintances dying from overdoses).
@chance - totally sorry... I seemed to have overlooked your question. This guitar is a Fender DG-3 acoustic. I've acquired, bought and sold many guitars/basses over the years, but she remains with me -- she was the first guitar I ever owned. Throughout the years I've customized her a bit to my liking, and I've definitely beaten the hell out of her, but she keeps on going strong. I'll never let her go -- no matter how many cracks or bruises she may have. She might not be nice to look at, but she plays reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal nice.
