I cannot BELIEVE this. I was just playing this same game about an hour ago. (with son, of course, who gets angry if I don't let him help play). Guess it's just an old school day through and through, eh?

that is awesome lofi.

christmas story- christmas 1988, my family gave my brother and i a NES game system, and while my brother and my dad were playing their first level of super mario bros., i distinctly remember thinking "this is it. technology will never advance any further than this!"

it's worth noting i was 7 years old.

Johnny Rebellious says:
@9schwander - that's a crazy coincidence. I mean, seriously, think about it... what are the odds in that? It definitely puts a smile on my face though, I can tell you that.
Posted: Dec 27th, 2009 - 8:38pm -
Johnny Rebellious says:
@HiImTerry - trust me, I still played this game in '88... and I'd have one of my sisters help me out with the hard parts. She'd inevitably take over for the rest of the game, and I'd be on the sidelines watching her beat the game with a smile on my face. It was a pretty common scenario in my household.

@Fofe, that TV is most certainly lo-fi... I'm not even sure how old it is, but it's old, trust me. I'm the type of guy who doesn't throw things out until they break down completely.
