That was kind of a rebellious haiku in your caption. A tasty rebellious haiku. You play by your own haiku rules don't you? If I had arms like that all my haikus would be like three words long.

traps are hyooge. shrugs? or presses.

also, CLAME
Posted: Dec 13th, 2009 - 10:51pm -
Johnny Rebellious says:
@pcain, are you serious? What are the chances of that?! That's kinda weirding me out. Hmmm, let's see who has had theirs the longest... when did you get yours? I've had mine etched in my skin for roughly 7 years.
Posted: Dec 13th, 2009 - 11:12pm -
Johnny Rebellious says:
@Andrew, I mainly shrug for direct trap work, but I do presses as well. And thanks for showing me your tattoo, I've been trying to figure out what it was since CLAME

Andrew says:
you looke like you have a rugby player's build though. not gigantic, more compact and really solid & mostly lean.
Posted: Dec 13th, 2009 - 11:31pm -
pcain says:
I've only had mine for 2.
it totally freaked me out when I looked at the thumb. I was like.. "is that...WTF?"
yeah dude Ill totally post a picture of it sometime durring whiskerino. its even about the same size... I have another one on the same arm of a black knight chess piece
Posted: Dec 14th, 2009 - 7:37am -
Johnny Rebellious says:
@Andrew, I like that description you used (rugby player's build). I used to say a Russian shotputter, but I think rugby player is a better fit. And compact/solid is right - I'm 5'8" 190 pounds... but I'm not as lean as you would think.. currently I'm about 17% body fat (though it doesn't look like it at all), but I've begun cutting back calories lately and putting in more cardio sessions, so the fat has been steadily melting off the past couple weeks. Come February, I should be back to where I want to be.
Posted: Dec 14th, 2009 - 7:58am -
Johnny Rebellious says:
@pcain, I would have totally had the same reaction if I saw your Quixote ink before I knew you had it. And the fact that it's the same size and almost in the same location makes it even more disconcerting.

But yeah, I'd love for you to post a picture of it -- and I'm curious about how the chess piece looks. If you end up going to the Throwdown, we should pose side by side showing off our matching tattoos...

Can't express how damn cool that tattoo is. Fav'd

Hadn't read Don Quixote since I was 20. Started the audio book while running about a month ago. One of the greatest and funniest books ever.
Posted: Dec 14th, 2009 - 8:49pm -
Johnny Rebellious says:
@BryanHunter, thanks! Oddly enough, the last time I read Don Quixote was when I was about 20... and I agree with you, it's hilarious! I should probably pick it up again -- I'm literally staring at it on one of my bookshelves right now.
