First and foremost, thank you to @Mackle for everything.

Second and secondmost, thank you to @SPDinsmoor for getting myself, @PatchyStache & @MarkyMadBeard into this whole thing.

Third and uber-most, thank you all for making this site what it is: absurd, amazing, unique, loads of fun, & other fantastic adjectives.

The throwdown was an amazing experience in so many ways, and this fuzzy journey has been wonderful from start to end. Our bearded ball to conclude the whole shebang was a perfect culmination and an indication to anyone who was doubting of just how much a part of our lives this has indeed been.

Whiskerino has been more than just a fun photo-based website for me. Sure there have been some amazing photos, I mean some that made me laugh out loud and even stare in amazement, but I've also met great people and had a personally enhancing experience in many ways.

This has been a fantastic excercise in fun for the sake of fun (something all too rare), a chance to appreciate living outside conventions, and a chance to give up some vanity and stop caring about looks. This happening all while making sacrfices (slightly displeased family and ladies, making less money at work being cast into the kitchen and not allowed behind the bar again until shaving, less friendly treatment from strangers on the street who think I must be a creep or homeless, etc.).

This has been a wonderful reminder that enjoying life should take precedent over at least some things and at least for now among those things would I include money, appearance, status quo, and a multitude of other crazy things I feel we can all get too caught up in at times.

Thank you, beards. It's been great meeting you all in person and/or online and if this ever happens again, I will gladly be growing and showing once more.
