I'm not really a collector of anything. I focused on guitars because that's the most that I have of any one thing. They are, in the order obtained:

White: 1983 Yamaha SC-300t. This was my first guitar that I got for Christmas, 1987. I was 14.

Acoustic, with pick guard: This is an Epiphone acoustic that I got for my 15th birthday. It's a cheapy, but I like it.

Red, small: This is a Samick something or other that I bought in Bharhain when I was in the Air Force. It sounds just like a full sized guitar, but it won't stay tuned for anything.

Blonde electric: A 1979 Carvin. This is an awesome guitar with a neck through the body that plays very nicely. It has so many buttons, knobs and inputs that I have never been able to figure all of them out.

Red, full sized: A 1999 Ibanez JS1000. My wife got this one for me for our very first Christmas as husband and wife. I had been pining for that guitar forever as I had always wanted an Ibanez. The day after she gave it to me our oldest son was born.

Acoustic, no pick guard: A Hofner 12-string that I rarely play. I figured out how to tune it, but I just can't get used to fretting/picking all of those strings. It sounds great when I play Wish You Were Here on it, though.

I don't want anybody to get the impression that I am good at playing the guitar. I have a lot of guitars, but I can barely play any of them. I mean, seriously, I can barely answer "yes" when someone asks if I know how to play. I'm that bad.

RAWK! This is a great collection of guitars. The real question here is; Can you play them all at once? At the same time? In a row?

I didn't think you'd want to part with that guitar -- I was just trying to show how much I'd love to own it. I had a 12 string years ago, but sadly pawned it at some point when I was in a money jam. I've wanted another one ever since. They are a chore to string and tune though. But other than that, I love 'em.

NIce collection. I was thinking about this, but I've already shown almost all of my guitars. Love 12 strings. Still learning how to make mine really sing.
