Well, friends, the end is at hand.

I thought I might actually complete Whiskerino: The Final Chapter, but forces beyond my control compel me to throw in the towel. The New Year inevitably beats you over the head with its "fresh start." Coupled with my impending 31st birthday in mid-February and the bit of OCD I picked up in college, I was bound to crack before long. And, like @wiseacre, once Throwdown attendance was ruled out, there was even less motivation to see it through.

Bottom line: Most of you guys can rock a beard, but I just don't think I'm a beard guy -- a sentinment shared by fellow Hall of Shamer @taber. It's taken BC2K3 and three Whiskerinos to figure it out, but I'm just not. Compared to others, honestly, my level of participation was never quite adequate. Let's face it, I'm no King Beard.

With that said, sorry for letting Team Livermush down, @elldub. Stay strong, remaining Carolina crew.
