My flash blew full bore (it's malfunctioning every 50th or so shot) and my eyes were right on it as I type. I think I burnt my retina.

If I had a remote flash, so many things would be so much easier. I think.

Le Duncan says:
Am I wrong in assuming that you have made your own Christmas sweater out of found objects and bird nests, and are waiting for just the right moment to blow us all away?
Posted: Dec 23rd, 2009 - 10:29am -
hale. says:
@leduncan, you're not far off. unfortunately all my scotch tape was used up in wrapping presents, so i've had a bit of a setback. also, i'm weaving the sleeves out of unicorn hair. it's a delicate process.
Posted: Dec 23rd, 2009 - 11:33am -
Le Duncan says:
I will be patiently waiting.
Posted: Dec 23rd, 2009 - 1:40pm -
Scrivener says:
In a forest glade somewhere, a denuded unicorn stands shivering, hoping against hope that he doesn't catch pneumonia and die. And for what? So that hale could have his beloved unicorn hair sweater. Bastard.
Posted: Dec 23rd, 2009 - 7:44pm -
hale. says:
@leduncan and @scrivener - unicorn hair regenerates daily. unfortunately for me, i have only taken the entry level sweater making course, and the unicorn hair sweater is something you learn in the advanced class. my sweater never came to be.
Posted: Dec 23rd, 2009 - 8:11pm -
Scrivener says:
If unicorn hair regenerates daily, would that mean that whatever unicorn-hair sweater you crafted would be completely indestructible? Or at least that whenever you destroy it, it would regenerate itself good as new the next day? Or does it just mean that once you destroy the sweater, a new pile of unwoven unicorn hair would regenerate and sit there, like a phoenix risen from its ashes, waiting to be reknit into a new sweater?

c dub says:
what'r you shooting with these days n what remote do you use?
Posted: Dec 24th, 2009 - 3:00pm -
c dub says:
oh and unicorn's hairs are in actuality strings of light each channeling a single dream from each of us. once shed their light fades and no longer exist to be. at all. so, yeah, i don't believe your sweater weaving story.
