Theme week: Back to School, Day 2.

I'm in Lot 56, gathering my thoughts. The loan process is excruciating, and I can't help but feel like I'm getting worked over by criminals. I'm glad I've managed to avoid taking out loans until now, but geez...
Since I'm wandering blindly through the labyrinth of business speak and interest nightmares pretty much on my own, the tuition deadline just keeps creeping closer.
On the bright side, @grapes 's advice on appealing that parking ticket (which was time-stamped at 9:20 A.M. on the VERY FIRST DAY OF CLASS) saved me forty bucks! Awesome.

Don't get me started and loans and the entire mess that is a liberal arts education. Such a scam.

folliclejuju says:
captain obvious...you have a bacon air freshener. while i'd call that dairy, i think it's actually a bit porky. which is good. i think porkys made a lot of money on dvd sales, at least.

As a person who never really went to college, I think you for showing us the other side of the frat parties and loose women side of the college experience. This doesn't sound fun at all.

Love the bacon air freshener by the way.

@emsiizilla, I pick bifurcating, because I like to say/type bifurcate.

gragaband, I hope your next picture is you celebrating because you got the most awesome professor at the university.

@everyone: The bacon air freshener, unfortunately, smelled nothing like bacon. Think charcoal slathered in Vegemite and lit on fire. It stunk my car up for almost a month.

@yogibeard: I was pretty set on going to a liberal arts school while I was in my senior year of high school. I... didn't. Such a scam indeed.

@michaeljstraub: It thankfully doesn't smell like anything anymore.

@thatguy: I've always despised parties and loose women. In fact, college has produced a premature curmudgeon in me; I think I've actually yelled the words "Get off my lawn, you little shits!" in all seriousness, and I'm only 21. I don't mean to totally misrepresent my time at the university. I've had a number of truly engaging classes and some really awesome instructors. After my loan goes through, this semester looks like it'll be a lot of fun.
But all in all, yes... this place is pretty shitty. Bloated bureaucratic administration, dumb-as-rocks trust fund kiddos, and a massively overpopulated campus means more often than not, I wind up pretty stressed.

@hiimterry: Nope. My next picture is in the Clock and Bell room.
