That's exactly how I eat peanut butter -- just the tub and a spoon. Mmmmm.

i wanna see this game played in person just once. there is no way a game played by so many people i know can't be fun.

Are you guys playing D & D? (The joke is that I'm the nerd, because that's the nerd game I can name!)
Posted: Jan 7th, 2010 - 5:27pm -
emsiizilla says:
@edwardteach, @mattyc is correct. I was feeling too lazy to go out into the cold and get my tripod out of my car. But the joke was on me, because my tripod turned out to be in my bedroom.

@sariebell, yes!

@johnnyrebellious: Mostly, that peanut butter was being spread on oreos, but... I'm with you in spirit.

@kidstatic: I would say it's... "deceptively fun". Looking at it here, it seems cluttered and boring, but it's all about the imagination. It's like cops and robbers for grown ups.

@Hiimterry: JIF is pretty great, yeah. I'm personally partial to the Great Value generic stuff.

@edwardteach: What mattyc and emsiizilla said. She definitely played this session, but she is not pictured. We are also missing Sixarp, our Dragonborn Fighter, and sitting in for his first session is Chad. He doesn't have a medieval name yet.

@wondermade: It's Dungeons and Dragons

@sariebell: Yes!

Peanut butter on Oreos?!? Holy crap! I've never thought of that, but I must try it!

gragaband says:
@grapes: roflsauce.

@hiimterry: I've been putting peanut butter on oreos since I was in diapers. I can barely eat oreos plain at this point. Have you tried the pb & bacon sandwich?! It's a must.

Love me some RP games. Some of my best memories growing up was sitting around a table throwing dice and looking up results in the charts. We played Rolemaster & Shadowrun.

@folliclejuju, this particular session was rescheduled three times, due to travel, weather, and illness.

i was sideways once on the way there and twice on the way back, but i think its just because my truck manages to find every patch of black ice on the road.

gragaband says:
@bryonnash: I've always wanted to play Shadowrun. Once I'm done with this campaign, I might actually pick up a sourcebook...

@folliclejuju: You guys run games at work? Sweet.

@grapes: Yeah, my drive home was a little scarier. It got pretty slick out.

folliclejuju says:
we use the office after quitting time. it's centrally located and a pretty cool place to be all around.

folliclejuju says:
we were figuring that we should cut out our power cards like you guys do. on the other hand, you'd probably find a big dry erase mapping dungeon layout map thing much more user friendly than paper and huge erasers. btw, is that big green gorilla an epic monster?
Posted: Jan 8th, 2010 - 12:55pm -
gragaband says:
@folliclejuju:
Yeah, we're thinking of investing in a big sheet of plexiglass to lay on top of the maps. I like handdrawing them, though, so I'm not going to stop using graphing paper. Having the power cards laid out in front of you is nice; however, I don't like printing a new one each time I have to choose a new power, so I usually just write mine on a notecard.

gragaband says:
Also, @folliclejuju: That gorilla is most definitely an epic monster.
