this expression sums up how i've been feeling
sorry i haven't been around much since the throwdown. i met some fantastic new people and saw some friends that i have been missing for two years. i regret only being able to shake hands or say hello to some people but i'm grateful for the good quality time i got with others as well.
since then things have been....well...interesting.
while @zackle and i were at a rest stop on our way home i listened to my voice mail and returned a phone call. to make a long story short i was invited to go to an island in the Bahamas and do some exploratory fishing for a lodge to help develop a fishing program.
it's a golden opportunity for a broke guy like me since all i have to do is get there and the rest is free.
this week has been full of highs and lows, super stressful situations, giving my credit card number to an internet scam, phone calls with the government, a predawn trip to philly to get a passport, coordinating with two different air carriers...and now a big snow storm is headed our way. i'm not sure how this will all shake out but were i'm headed there is no interwebs so my time here is limited and i'm trying not to dwell on the fact that i will miss the final days of this amazing thing called whiskerino.
but it isn't goodbye just yet...
