What the...

This is a "V cube", sometimes known as the Olympic cube. Yeah, it takes an effort to solve it.

But I solved it, just for you guys!

If I had to peel all the stickers off a regular cube to solve it, I think I'll just walk right by this one.

For reals???

True Story: A couple years ago, I broke up with a girl I'd been dating for about a year and a half, then went away to Alaska for a couple weeks [grandparents' 55th anniversary]. The ex-gf was dog sitting for me while I was away (an admittedly unwise choice), and during that time, her sister came over and scrambled my previously-untouched Rubik's cube. When I got home, I took an afternoon, got online, and learned how to solve them. I've forgotten now, but I was pretty proud of myself for getting it done. And pretty confused by Rubik-scrambling as revenge for a broken-hearted sister.

the evidence appears incontrovertible. even though there could be (1) 2 cubes or (2) some other tom foolery, i have to give my vote that i believe. very impressive!
