So I broke out the point&shoot today. I'm training for when I go to Europe in January, when I'm sure to need it for whiskerino.

This look on my face can only be explained by first going over to @Mu's page (click here to see what i'm talking about).
Yeah, I was pretty down after seeing the massive bear on his face. I mean beard.

Anyway, I felt it was only ok to post this point&shoot after @jnonfiction assured me that I was in good company.

all I post is Point and Shoot images - I personally think it forces you to go the extra mile on your photos as you can't fall back on the Pro Camera look to make up for any lack of imagination

agree with Mackle

@barefoot, it's a lexus.

@mackle, true, true. It's actually more work for me to use the canon 5d, because I have to convert from raw. This thing (g9) spits out jpegs, for instant uploading. My macbook pro even takes the card as an input device. I *should* be using this thing more. I just have crazy lighting requirements in most of my shots.

every shot of mine so far has either been a canon powershot A510, polaroid i733 or my iphone.

@ben hah, it's what lexus has by default, I think.

@gavin here's to hope. cheers.

mu says:
@Gavin is right. Don't be depressed. I could be depressed by my lack of photography ability, which I have been jealous of with so many of your pics. So what will I have when all our beards are big? Still mediocre photography abilities... lost is a sea of all our big beards... Man I'M depressed now... thx.

Furricane says:
hah no worries @mu. Show up to the throwdown, and you'll get some awesome pics.

Fofe says:
For most of my pictures I use whatever camera is at hand that will give me to the result I want, P&S or dSLR. For me, it's about trying to get a shot I can be happy with in whatever time I have each day. I am so impressed by the quality of photos that guys post and its inspires me to try new things, too.

Besides, the driving to/from work photo is almost an obligatory pose.

The only camera I own is a point and shoot. Every time I touch a more sophisticated camera, I end up with a blurry picture of my feet trying to figure the damn thing out. NIce shot.

It was much too cold for the tie. I actually thought about tucking one under the shirt, but didn't want to deal with it for 26.2, never mess with chaffing.
