I am out.

I had every intention of making it the next two weeks, Valentine's or not. Yet, when my girlfriend Anna came up from Brooklyn to visit me this weekend, I made the rash decision to shave for her.

Since she moved to NYC for a new job in December our time together has been very scarce, and trying to make the long distance thing work has been taxing on both of us. I also know she hated the beard that long, and missed my smooth face. So there it is. Not an excuse but more of a reason.

I would like to thank Mackle, and all the wonderful beards on this site for their past and continuing hard work. It has been a blast both in 07-08 and 09-10. Have a wicked good time at the throwdown, and drink one for all the fallen beards.

At least I got the leprechaun costume in...

Bring on the shame.
