There are no tacos in Azerbaijan. I have taco bell sauce and some taco flavor mix, but no tacos. Taco theme day just made me want to be back in America. Damn you taco theme day! Damn you!

Really? No tortillas? You need to bring the amazing glory of the taco to the people of Azerbaijan.

That has got to be a really interesting place to be! The closest I've been was a few weeks in Ukraine. Still, I'm sure it's culturally quite different. And how the heck did you even get those taco packets?

And I think @spdinsmoor is onto something. If you introduced tacos, you might totally be hailed as a savior. It might be like The Life of Brian or something, though. So be careful.

@ S. P. Dinsmoor There is nothing like a corn tortilla here. We have this flower tortilla type thing, but is extremely thin and doesn't make a good tortilla. What I wouldn't give for some corn tortillas with butter and salt dipped into some salsa.

@ Just Jamey. Those taco packet were originally sent to another PCV living here and i inherited them. I tried to introduce burritos while i was living with a host family and those went over great, but tacos is a much larger step. In my mind a taco is a crunchy open shell and i'm not sure if Azerbaijani's are ready for those. Give'm time.
