Several things:

1) I like your glasses. I have some very simiilar that are Ooh La La frames.
2) I like all of your girl scout badges. I was a bad brownie.
3) I love the color scheme in your house. It matches mine! We have an olive green couch, turquoise walls and pinkish red velvet curtains!
4) I think I need some sea monster jewelry in my repertoire. I have a sea horse pin in retro-bakelite. Does that count?
5) Are you attending the Throwdown?

@sariebell,
1. Thank you!
2. A bad brownie is better than nothin'.
3. I noticed that in your Festivus Day 1 picture; that corner of your room is identical to a corner of my room.
4. Sea horses definitely count.
5. No. I am sad. D:

my favorite scouting uniform was the one i ganked from grandad's closet, though i think it was more likely one of my uncle's. it was a much darker olive drab and was more fitted. i guess there were fewer portly scouts back then. my son is 4 now, but i'm reckoning that in the next 5 or 6 years that i'll be sporting olive drab again. great new picture! medium-rare for the delicious finish!

@folliclejuju, my son is a scout. I was the den leader for the first year, I am no longer the den leader. Hit me up if you want my barely worn den leader shirt when the time comes.

All those tights are missing are some red ruby slippers and a house to fall on you.

emsiizilla says:
@folliclejuju, I don't have an old scouting uniform but my grandpa did give me this old and broken trefoil pin that I will someday do something with. The back is broken off, so maybe I'll wear it on a necklace or something.

The point is, I am jealous of people with really great, vintage scouting paraphernalia.

@hiimterry, I'm Glenda, I just borrowed these from my sister to take the picture.
