Ok. So, when you open up the package of Neese's, brace yourself. The smell is so heavenly you may have to change your pants.

The idea here is that you want a deep fried crunchy outside and a soft inside. To achieve this you must slice a piece that's about a half inch thick while the oil in your pan is warming.
