It's a good thing to have a wife who can fix up your hair when it's butchered by chain barbershops.

That being said, I made a life decision today: Find an old barbershop and preferably an old barber and stick with him and the same haircut. Isn't that what grownups do? Sounds like a good plan to me.

ive had that same experience happen. now i have a tendency to let my hair grow out and then shave my head. plus its a lot cheaper that way. also, i have that aa shirt in yellow with green stripes.

I thought I had that all figured out. I decided I would just stop getting haircuts and grow my hair long as God intended. When I shared that revelation with my wife she said, "Grow up." So, I'm back to Great Clips. FWIW, with ink like that nobody's looking at your hair anyway.

I used to get my hair and my boys' hair cut at "Jack's Barber Shop" just up the street. It had been in business for 58 years, and just closed down less than a month ago. A very sad day for our family. Clame for story.

Yeah I'm with you brother Great Clips jacks me up everytime, and I keep thinking it'll get better, it never does.

Going to find a barber, that is a grown up thing to do. Plus giving back to the community's smaller establishments sounds like a good thing too.

Old school Italian is the way to go. His name should be Giuseppe, or better yet Enzo. He should do straight razor shaves, but obviously not on that sacred ground of yours.

I've always wanted a barber to keep my summer stache trimmed just for the novelty of it. We'd be good friends but only talk about the weather. Then one day I'll attend his funeral and learn "who he really was." Know what I'm sayin?

I found an amazing barber about 2 years ago and get the same cut every time. about 10 bucks more expensive then the chain places. worth it. btw this is not what I consider a butcher. you look smashing. and ... hi!

Sport Clips is the one that cracks me up the most.

The place I go to is great (clame). Old-school style shop full of rockabilly kids. They have a full-time tattoo artist from a local shop with a chair in the back.

i cut my own hair. in fact, no one else has cut my hair for over 10 years. it was a decision that resulted from a combination of too many disappointing haircuts at the hands of others, frugality and personal freedom.
