Yes, it is that time.

I've done the Yewknee Beard Contest of 2003, Whiskerino 2005, 2007 and now 2009. I've never bowed out early until.....now.

One of my proudest moments was winning the most MVB's and King Beards of the 2 previous Whiskerino's.

This time around I've had a lot going on in my life, some good, some not so good. I honestly haven't had the time, drive or inspiration.

More than ANYTHING else, I'm so glad for all the friends that I've made through this crazy web site. I hope to continue all of them forever.

Please keep in touch everyone.

If the mentality of "Whiskerino as TV Show" is kept intact this is very fitting. Beloved 'characters' leave the show and wrap things up nice and tidy. So, while I am bummed not to be exposed to your always delightfully inspired images, I am glad that Whiskerino gets to do something new and unique for you - say goodbye.

One time @Burney told me that the reason he shaved during a Whiskerino was that it was the one thing he hadn't done. It's a respectful mentality to have.
