I have a confession to make. I don't know how to tie a tie. In fact whenever the case arises I have to look it up on the internet. I don't own a suit. I really don't even have a pair of proper dress shoes. It was never a conscious effort to avoid those things. I just woke up one day and realized I was an adult with responsibilities who couldn't tie a tie.

TBH I didn't own one until all my friends started getting married. Also, it helps to have one for meetings w/ clients.
