Last year we said O' Nine. How are we supposed to say 2010? Twenty Ten? Two Thousand Ten? Just Ten? One O'?

I was really rooting for the use of "aught" for the past decade, but it never happened. I think twenty ten is the easiest to say and is consistent with the way we referred to the 1900s (e.g., nineteen eighty). (I have thought way too much about this...I need to get out more!)

@Fofe - I've used "aught" quite a lot last decade. Sadly, the grizzled prospector speak hasn't caught on...dag nabbit!

I'm going with twenty ten. It's also fun to say, "this is the TENS, for crying out loud!"

I think I've said it every different way possible, but I'm pretty sure that as long as you spell it right in the top corner of your checks, no one will really care how you pronounce it. Happy Saturday.
