Dear Bearded Brothers,
I apologize for the irregularity of this photograph. However, I am compelled to plea for your help. No doubt all of you have heard of the extreme devastation in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. This hits close to home for me as I have spent time not far from the epicenter of the earthquake working for Mission of Hope Haiti, a Christian non-profit organization devoted to providing, food, shelter, medicine and education to the poorest of Haiti's citizens. The clearing of rubble, rebuilding of Port-au-Prince's already unstable infrastructure and providing for the nearly 3 million Haitian citizens affected by the quake will take a great deal of time, effort and resources. This no guilt speech or plea for sympathy. However, if you feel compelled, I have provided a number of links under my "About Me" section that will honorably use any donations given for the relief effort. I love you all my bear-ish broheims and hope that you will at the very least pray to whatever deity you worship and ask for their help and healing hands in Haiti. Thank you.

As well, I would simply ask that you talk this post up. Not for me, but for the continual awareness of the current tragedy in Haiti. Thank you my brothers.

I've been sending positive vibes south ever since it happened and contributed a little money as well. The stories are just heartbreaking.

@I know it's well appreciated. I talked with a friend who serves as the U.S. Director for Mission of Hope Haiti, the above mentioned org., and he told me about 3 bible students of their who were studying in Port-au-Prince the day of the quake. They were able to make it out of the building after about an hour but lost about 20 fellow students. Heartbreaking stuff, but I choose to believe that God can make good out of anything.

@CraigwithaK - I don't know them no. I've only heard minor rumblings in the recent months due to their connections with the local YFC ministry as well.
